Lebanon Red Cross Shelter Management Class
Shelter Management is an instructor-led, basic level course that introduces the roles, responsibilities and tasks of the shelter manager. Using the Sheltering Handbook, participants will work through a case study that takes them through four of the six phases of the Sheltering Cycle: Opening, Organizing, Operating and Closing. The purpose of this course is to prepare participants to effectively operate a shelter facility that provides disaster services in a safe environment for its residents and workers.

redcross.org - Type your user name and password (Contact Volunteer Services to get the your user information)
- Scroll over the “My Shifts” tab and click “Course Registration” in the drop-down menu
- Find the class you would like to take and click “Sign Up”.
- Click “Register Now” on the next screen and you are registered!
