Earth Day Multi-County Recycling Event
Camden, Miller, and Laclede County residents! Join us for the annual Lebanon Recycles for the Recycling Event, hosted by the City of Lebanon Recycling Program.
Residents may drop off the following items for recycling or disposal:
Household Hazardous Waste: paint and stain supplies, light bulbs, batteries, pesticides and herbicides, automotive and cleaning products.
Non-Household Hazardoes Waste: cardboard, paper, tin cans, aluminum cans, and plastics (excluding #6 PS Polystyrene-Styrofoam, plastic silverware, foam plates or cups) All NON-HHW containers must be cleaned of any residual product.
Heavy Metals: household appliances, lawn mowers, motors and tire rims, bicycles and exercise equipment and other items made of 100% metal like swing sets, trampoline frames and barbeque grills. Sorry ties are NOT being accepted at this event.
Yard Debris: consisting of lawn and garden vegetation like-leaves, tree limbs, grass and shrub trimmings. NO pre-treated lumber will be accepted.
Small Electronics: anything corded or battery operated (computer, audio and video equipment, small appliances, telephones, cell phones, tools_ A $20 fee applies to the disposal of televisions and compute monitors. Vouchers for FREE disposal of TV's or computer monitors will be available in limited quantities and distributed at the time of the event (first come first serve). Limit one voucher-per car-per visit.
Lebanon's recycling center is a free service for all residents of Camden, Laclede, and Miller counties. For more information about area recycling options, check out the recycling/energy conservations page in the residents section of Lebanon's website.
